Greg Bales

Greg Bales has been in the “Real Estate Industry” for 6 years as a part time Investor & Landlord. He taught himself by listening through reading books, listening to cd’s, dvd’s and going to educational seminars as well as watching other successful investors. When he started investing he belonged to a Real Estate group that is currently not active and now belongs to the FLREIA.

What helped Greg overcome his fears was good education and doing proper research which is very important. However the “MOST” important is being part of a great Real Estate group that you can turn to when you have questions…like the FLREIA. Without having this support system most people will not take the first step and if they do they will make many unnecessary mistakes that will probably keep them from further investments.

Greg had mentioned that one of his do-over would definitely be “starting sooner” & also the great “Learning from your mistakes” statement which in Greg’s case was being caught up in the hype of the market or just listening to others too much and acting on emotion instead of being objective.

What advice would you give those who want to invest but are afraid to? Join the FLREIA, get educated, invest in yourself (attend monthly meetings and other educational events, purchase books, CDs, DVDs and whatever else you can do to increase your knowledge), figure out what part of real estate investing interests you and then DO IT! And of course use the resources available through the FLREIA and “follow the smart money”.

Greg benefited from the FLREIA by saving time. Like many people, he’s very busy and doesn’t have a lot of time to waste and being part of a group, like the FLREIA, gives him access to the resources and knowledge he needs to make quick and intelligent decisions. If he has a question about something he has never done before, he just picks up the phone, calls and knows he can get an answer that will allow him to feel confident about his decision.

Last but not least we asked Greg what he would say about the FLREIA to others that are looking to invest? His answer: If you are serious about investing joining the FLREIA is a no brainer. It will take you several years and tens of thousands of dollars in mistakes to gain the kind of experience and knowledge that is available to you through the FLREIA. In just a few short months I have already more than paid for my ELITE membership through the contacts I have met and the educational resources available.

There you have it, another reason why education and being part of a successful group, such as the FLREIA is a definite plus for those who are serious about investments and success in the Real Estate Industry.
